The base layer and visits

  • Kinship Plan: £20 a month. The Kinship team holds their history and medicines, calls every month and replies the same day. Kemi handles WhatsApp check-ins and reminders, passing worries to the team. Visits come with a named Kinkeeper. Every report and a monthly family note sit in one shared record.
  • Kinship Visits provide support in person. Billed monthly, visits add £40, £75 or £140 a month for 1, 2 or 4 visits per month, making monthly totals with the base plan of £60, £95 or £160. Nurse visits are one specific type, with up to three unhurried hours and agreed checks.
  • Brothers and sisters can chip in together as one payment.

What changes the price

  • The base layer stays £20 a month.
  • Choose 1, 2 or 4 visits per month around the support the person already has. Visit types and dates are agreed with them; these are monthly allowances, not weekly schedules.
  • Every week can help after a hospital stay, a fall or a new diagnosis.

Sharing the cost

Brothers and sisters can chip in as one payment towards the member's own plan. Three siblings sharing a £60 monthly plan with visits contribute £20 each.

What the price does not include

Hospital bills, medicines and tests are paid separately. The plan and visits provide nursing support, checks and coordination, rather than payment for treatment.

Questions people ask

Can I cancel?

Yes. Supporters can stop chipping in at any time. The member's plan does not end automatically; they decide whether to keep it going.

Is the price in pounds or naira?

Supporters pay in pounds. Ask us about options for a member paying towards their own plan in Nigeria.
