Kinship Plan: One person. One Kinship Plan. As many people as want to help. The Kinship team, a call every month, Kemi on WhatsApp and a record shared with permission, with a named Kinkeeper once visits are added.; Available now. £17/month, £204 billed annually. Save £36 a year compared with £20/month billed monthly. Visits are optional. People can contribute together as one payment. Read more
Member: The member is the person a Kinship Plan looks after; the plan and the choices are theirs.; A member can be a parent, an aunt, a sibling, a friend, or you. Members must be adults.
Supporter: A supporter is anyone who chips in money towards someone else's Kinship Plan.; Several supporters can chip in to one plan. Supporters see that the plan is looked after; they do not see the member's health information unless the member shares it. Read more
Kinship Visits: Kinship Visits add support in person, with 1, 2 or 4 visits per month. Nurse visits are one specific type.; Nurse visits can include agreed health and medicines checks. Your Kinkeeper reviews reports. Visit support and availability are confirmed with you. Read more
Kinship Health: Hospital and outpatient treatment and in-person doctor appointments, paid on their health benefits. Levels and prices at launch.; Coming soon.
Kinship Protection: A cash sum paid to the people someone chooses when they pass away, to use however they need.; Coming soon.
Kinkeeper: A Kinkeeper is the desk-based registered nurse named on a Kinship Plan with visits who coordinates wellbeing and reviews visit reports.; The Kinkeeper keeps their history and medicines together and coordinates from the desk rather than doing home visits. Updates follow the member's consent and permissions. Read more
Kemi: Kemi handles WhatsApp check-ins and reminders for medicines and appointments, passing anything worrying to the Kinship team.; Kemi never diagnoses. Anything that would change a health fact or a care plan goes to the Kinkeeper. Read more
Care Partner: Our care partner in Nigeria delivers qualified nurse visits on the ground to Kinship's standard.; Named in the Kinship Care Partner Schedule. Read more
Chip in: To chip in is to share the cost of someone's Kinship Plan.; People who want to help can contribute together as one payment. Contributing does not grant access to health information or control over the plan.
Kin: Your kin are the people who matter to you, however you know each other.; The member chooses who can receive updates, according to their consent and permissions.
