Any relationship works. The plan is for them, shaped around what would help. You chip in, and so can anyone else who cares.
What Kinship does here
A Kinship Plan that is theirs
The Kinship care team, a call every month, Kemi's WhatsApp check-ins and reminders, and a record shared according to the person's permissions. A named Kinkeeper comes with visits.
Kinship Visits if they want them
Visits are optional and shaped around the member. For a younger adult that may mean being alongside them at appointments rather than check-ins at home.
A named Kinkeeper
A Kinkeeper comes with Kinship Visits: a named, desk-based registered nurse who reads every visit report and is who the family calls. Updates follow the person's consent and permissions. For a member who is well and busy, she is mostly in the background until she is needed.
Several people, one plan
Anyone who wants to help can contribute together as one payment. The person receiving support chooses who gets updates; paying does not grant access.

Visits happen at home. The Kinkeeper reviews reports, with updates shared according to the person's consent and permissions.
What it costs
- Kinship Plan £20 a month when billed monthly: the Kinship care team, Kemi on WhatsApp and a record shared according to the person's consent and permissions.
- Kinship Visits add £40, £75 or £140 a month for 1, 2 or 4 visits per month when billed monthly.
- Plan with visits £60, £95 or £160 a month, billed monthly. Annual options are available on the plan page.

Questions people ask
Does it have to be a relative?
No. Anyone can chip in to a plan for an adult who matters to them.
Can they see who is chipping in and how much?
The member sees that their plan is supported and by whom. Individual amounts are between each supporter and Kinship.
Can they pay part of it themselves?
Yes. The member can contribute to their own plan alongside supporters.
What if they are young and healthy?
The base plan is £20 a month, with the Kinship care team, WhatsApp support and a shared record. Visits are optional and come with a named Kinkeeper.
