Your father or mother is getting older, and you are a six-hour flight away. Calls tell you some of it. Money sent for a hospital visit tells you less. What you want is someone there, in person, who you can name, and a plain account of how they actually are.
Most people using Kinship today are adults in the UK with a parent or an older relative in Nigeria. The plan is built for exactly this: the parent holds their own plan, the children and anyone else who cares chip in, and one nurse keeps the story straight.
What Kinship does here
Kinship Visits at home
A qualified nurse comes to them in person, one, two or four times a month, for up to three hours: a check-in, company, or being alongside them at an appointment. Every visit ends with a plain update for the family.
A named Kinkeeper
A Kinkeeper is a registered nurse who does not do the visiting: she reviews every visit report before the family sees it, signs it off, and is the person the family knows by name. Your parent knows who she is, and so do you.
Kinship Well
The health part of the plan: hospital care, medicines and tests through a hospital network in Nigeria, in their own name, with a doctor to talk to when they need one. Well and Well+ have the same benefits; Well+ adds more follow-through on agreed next steps.

Questions people ask
Does my parent have to agree?
Yes. The plan is in their name and they set up their own account. In practice most parents say yes once they understand it is a nurse who visits, not a stranger checking up on them.
Can my brothers and sisters share the cost?
Yes. Anyone you invite can chip in, in any amount, towards one plan. Everyone who chips in sees the same updates.
What if they live outside Lagos?
Kinship Well works through a hospital network across Nigeria. Kinship Visits are delivered in Lagos today. Tell us where they are when you get early access and we will be straight with you about what is available.
What happens in an emergency?
Call local emergency services first. Then the Kinkeeper helps with what comes next: which hospital, what the health benefits pay towards, and keeping the family informed.
