Your own Kinship Plan gives you the Kinship care team, Kemi on WhatsApp and one shared record. Add nurse visits and a named Kinkeeper comes with them.
You live in Nigeria and want your own health arrangements in order. Or you live in the UK and spend part of the year at home. Or you simply want the people who love you to be able to chip in without it being awkward.
A Kinship Plan is held by the member. There is no reason the member cannot be you.
What Kinship does here
Your own Kinship Plan
The Kinship team keeps your history and medicines together, and someone from the team calls you every month. Kemi provides WhatsApp check-ins and reminders. You choose who receives updates.
A named Kinkeeper
A Kinkeeper comes with Kinship Visits: a named, desk-based registered nurse who reads every visit report and is who the family calls. Updates follow the person's consent and permissions. For a member who is well, she is a name and a number you hope not to need.
Visits, only if you want them
Kinship Visits are optional. Some members add them later, after an operation or a bad patch.
Let people chip in
Invite family or friends to support your plan. They see that it is looked after; they do not see your health information unless you choose to share it.

What it costs
- Kinship Plan £20 a month when billed monthly: the Kinship care team, Kemi on WhatsApp and a record shared according to the person's consent and permissions.
- Kinship Visits add £40, £75 or £140 a month for 1, 2 or 4 visits per month when billed monthly.

Do I need someone in the UK to chip in?
No. You can pay for your own plan in full.
I live in the UK. Is this useful to me?
The Kinship team can help keep your history and medicines together. Ask about visit availability where you stay in Nigeria. The plan does not pay treatment bills.
Who sees my health information?
You, the Kinship team (and your Kinkeeper, if you add visits) and the doctors treating you. Supporters see that your plan is active, not your health details, unless you choose to share them.
What does it cost?
Billed monthly, the base plan is £20 a month. With 1, 2 or 4 visits per month, monthly totals are £60, £95 or £160. Annual options offer savings compared with twelve monthly payments; see the plan page for the full annual prices.
